  me: Sounds like a

  Plan. When it comes

  Out, we’ll see it

  Him: Yay! ;3

This guy did NOT just make a winkie cat face at me!

Damn, I think he likes me.

Maybe he wants a relationship with me…

I recently broke up with Jordan, do I really want to get into another relationship?

I said goodbye to him, and logged off of Facebook. I walked into the kitchen, to find mom making dinner. She was making meatloaf.

“Hey honey, how was work?” she asked.

“Good.” I replied and sat down.

Mom put a plate of meat load in front of me, and I started to eat.

  “How’s Jordan doing?” Mom asked.

  A little late there…

  “We broke up.” I replied.

She looked at me, and said, “Why? What did he do?”

What is she? The nosy queen?

Now I know where Jenny gets it from!

Maybe Tammy, but she came out of another…nevermind…

  "Well, he cheated on me."

She looked at me, and said, “I knew from the beginning that he was trouble.” And went into the fridge to put something back. She walked away from the fridge, and leaned against the counter. “How’s school?”

“I met someone new.” I replied.

  “Is he gay?”

  OK, this is getting annoying!

“Just because I’m gay, doesn’t mean that you have to assume everyone I meet is!”

  “Sorry, just asking!” she replied.

“But he is, and I think he likes me.”

Mom sat down in the chair across from me, and said, “I think you need to stay away from relationships for a while. I mean, you need to focus on your studies. Not some guy’s butt.”

  Eww!

  What the fuck!

“Mom, you’re making this worse.” I replied. “I don’t plan on it.”

  Chapter 7

I was doing my homework later the next day. I was in the newsroom with the Nancy (The Opinions editor), Martha (the news editor), and Jesse.

We were doing our own things.

When I got done with my homework, I exited out of the web browser, and grabbed the book I was reading.

“So Gary, we heard you were gay.” The editor-in-chief said as I sat down on the couch.

  Wait…

  How did they know?

  “How did you—”

“Well, I looked on your Facebook page, and I noticed you were interested in guys. But anyway, we were thinking…”

  Oh god…

“There is this other gay guy that we know, and we didn’t know what you thought of a blind date?”

  A blind date?

  Why not?

  “Sure.”

The editor-in-chief brought out her phone, and said, “Let me call him, and see when he’s available.” And walked out of the newsroom.

The door slammed, like it always does, behind her, and I continued on my book.

“You’ll love who this person is.” The Opinions editor said.

  “Well, don’t get me—“

She came back in, and said, “He’s in class now and he’s free tonight. ‘Wanna do it?”

  Sure!

  “Why not?” I asked.

She continued talking on the phone, and then hung up. “You know the Ruby Tuesdays near the campus?”

  “Yeah?”

“We’ll meet you there, so we can blindfold you. Then we’ll lead you in, and then meet him.”

  “Will he be blindfolded?”

  “Yes.”

  This should be interesting…

  I don’t remember the last time I was blindfolded…

  Oh wait…Now I do!

  Just kidding!

  Chapter 8

I was getting my suit on, when mom came into my room.

I was just about to tie my tie.

“So, are you going on a date with Jordan?” she asked.

  I told her!

  I broke up with him!

“We broke up! I already told you.” I replied.

  “Oh yeah!”

  Great…

Jenny then came into the room. “So, going on a date with some guy?”

“Girl! I’m gay, so yes.” I replied.

“Probably tricking us so he can fuck some 45-year-old man."

“JENNY!” Mom yelled. “Do NOT use that language!”

  “Sorry mother.”

Gosh, Jenny is the queen of cussing…

“Well, I better get going.” I replied and headed out of the room.

I know that was a little rude, but they need to get over the fact that Jordan had sex multiple times…

And I’m out of his life…

  Chapter 9

I was driving down to the Ruby Tuesday where Tammy and Mitch had their first date. I was nerves…not that I was driving, but that I was about to have my first blind date.

Right before I got out of the car, I got a call from Tammy.

“Hey, ‘wanna hang out?” She asked.

  “Can’t.”

  “Why?”

  “I’m going on a date.”

“Now who is it?” she asked, sounding a little pissed.

  “It’s a blind date.”

  “Oh, who set it up?”

“The people on the newspaper team.” I replied.

“Wow.” She replied. “I’ll talk to ‘ya later.” She replied and hung up.”

  Yup, she was mad.

I got out of the car, and I found the editor-in-chief standing outside with a blindfold.

  “Hey, ready?” she asked.

“Yeah, I guess.” I replied and shrugged my shoulders.

She handed me the blindfold, and I put it on. I could feel someone tie it on the back of my face, and they led me into the building.

I was a little dizzy when they took off the blindfold. When they took it off, goddamn I was surprised.

  “Connor?” I asked.

He looked at me, and said, “Gary? They set us up on a date?!”

  Chapter 10

  I was startled.

  It was just…why?

They set me up on a date with one of the editors?!

I looked back at the editor-in-chief, and said, “With Connor? He’s an editor!”

  “And you’re point is?”

  “We can’t date editors!”

“Who cares! We think you two would be perfect for each other!” she replied. “Have fun.” And left.

  Damn you girl!

Why did you leave us like this!

  But I don’t care that much…he is hot…

We walked up to the front counter, and requested a table. They gave us seating thingy, and directed us to a seat.

I could tell the couple next to us were homophobic, because they just looked at us, and then whispered to each other.

  “Are you homophobic?” Connor asked.

“Yah, and we fucking hate you gay people.” The mother replied.

“Well, at least I can get a guy unlike you’re single ‘lookin ass!” I said.

I was right. She was a single mother with two kids.

  “Excuse me?” she asked.

“If you want to be treated with respect, then treat us with respect.” I replied.

Our buzzer rang, and we headed up from our seat, and headed to our table.

  ***

When we sat down, the lady handed us menus, and then headed away. She didn’t say word AT ALL.

  Gosh, what a fucking douche!

  She problem needs one…

Connor was just looking at his menu, as I was admiring his good looks. He was just so…stunning. His blue eyes, his brown hair, and his perfect face.

  I think I was in love…

He looked up from his menu, and said, “Yeah?”

“Nothing, I’m just admiring your beautiful face.” I replied.

He smiled a half-smile, and then said, “Please, you’re going to make me blush.”

That’s not the only thing I’m probably going to make him…

  Hehe…

I could tell he was blushing, because his cheeks were a little red. He looked back down on his menu, and was scanning it once again.

I looked down at my menu, and scanned it.

  ***

Soon, the waiter came, and handed us napkins. She brought out her notepad, and asked, “So, what can I get for you guys today?”

“I think I’ll just have the Bacon Ranch salad.” I said.

  “OK, and for you?”

  “Same.”

  “OK, any drinks?”

  “Water for me.” I said.

  “Me too.” Connor replied.

“OK, coming right up.” She replied and walked away.

I just brought out my phone, and said, “Do you care if I take a selfie?” I asked.

“Sure, as long as I’m in it.”

I went over to his booth, and scooted closer to him. I felt all fuzzy inside when I sat next to him.

I pointed the camera above us, and he decided to do a move I thought he would never do…

He pressed his lips against my cheek.

  Chapter 11

I took the photo, and then he let his lips off my cheek. I couldn’t believe he did that.

I know he’s hot and all, but talk about going from 0 to 100 really quick…

I looked over at him, and asked, “Why?”

“Well, I thought it might brighten the mood. Maybe we could go home and have a make-out session.”

You know what they say, college makes you a LOT hornier…

I moved back to my seat, and put my phone away. I just looked at him, and said, “You want some fun?”

  “Kind of…Yes…”

  Oh wow…

He wants to have fun with me on the first date…

  What is this? Grindr?

“To be honest, I am actually still a virgin, so I would honestly like…”

“I will make out with you, but I will not have sex with you.”

The waiter soon came with our food, and she placed the plates down in front of us. The salads looked good. I mean, VERY good.

I looked at my phone, and looked at the time. Holy crap, six o’clock.

Connor looked at me, and said, “We can go over to my house after we’re done, you know.”

  Over to his house?

  He wasn’t joking…

“I can’t this time.” I replied. “Maybe next time.

  Chapter 12

I reached my house in about 15 minutes and got out of the car. The date went fine…but I was still shocked on what he did in the photo…

When I walked inside, I saw my mother watching “All in the family”

I tried to sneak upstairs, but I heard silence. The TV was paused, and she asked, “So, where were you?”

“I was with Tammy.” I lied.

“Very funny! Now…where were you?” she asked again.

Geeze, I can’t lie in front of here…

“I was with Tammy." I said again."

  “Stop Lying!”

“I’m not!” I replied and walked upstairs. I walked up to Jenny’s room, and she was on her computer.

“So, how was it?” she asked.

  “What do you mean?”

She just looked at me. “How was it with Tammy.”

  Good, she believes me.

Before I could speak, She spoke up. “I know you were with Connor.”

  “How do you—”

“Tammy texted me saying you were with him.” She replied and turned around. “Did you go out to eat?”

  “How does mom—”

“She doesn’t. She is just assuming that because she’s mad at you for not telling her that you were gone.”

  Gosh, so protective…

“You better get to bed. Mom is mad.” She replied.

  Chapter 13

I was in the newsroom a couple days later, doing some homework. I had an essay that I needed to do, so I was doing it in there.

As I was finishing up the paper, I heard the door open.

  It was Connor…

  Great…

“Connor!” The editor-in-chief yelled and walked up to him. “How are you?”

  “Horrible.”

  “Why?”

“My parents called the police because they thought I was missing, and it turned out they found about our…uh…event. I ended up getting my phone taken away for a couple weeks.”

Wait, why are they taking his phone away?

  He’s a fucking college student!

“What was the, event?” she asked as she air quoted “event”

Before Connor could say a word, I heard the advisor come in, and he had some papers. He looked like he was going to pass them out.

“What are those for?” I asked.

“It’s for whoever wants to go to the state-wide Journalism Conference in a couple months.”

  What?

"I forgot that was coming up!" Connor replied and grabbed done of the papers. "I would highly recommend going, Gary. It's a lot of fun!"

“And plus you learn a lot of things.” The advisor replied.

  Maybe I should go.

  I need some fun.

  Not that type of fun.

Connor handed me one of the papers, and I read through it.

Apparently, I had to give up every Tuesday of my summer to make the “welcome-back-to-college magazine”

AND food and stuff were FUCKING FREE!

AND WE GET FUCKING SPENDING MONEY!!!!

  FUCK YEAH!

I put the paper in my backpack, and went back on the computer.

  Chapter 14

I drove home after my meeting, and walked inside the house. I was tired, but at the same time, I had a lot of energy.

I parked my car in the driveway, and walked into the house. Mom was sitting on her computer. She looked like she was emailing someone.

“Hi Gary.” She said and closed her laptop. "How was your meting?"

“It was good.” I replied. “We are going to a convention somewhere far away.”

Her eyes opened wide. “That’s great! When is it?”

"More information is coming soon, but it's going to be sometime in the semester."

I had skipped the first semester, so I didn’t go to the nation-wide conference…

Jenny walked down the Stairs, and asked, "So, I heard you were going to a convention! Congrats!"

  “Thanks!” I thanked.

I walk up to my room, and laid down on my bed.

  I was troubled.

I didn’t want love again for a while now.

But I can’t tell if Connor makes an exception.

  I want him…

  April

  Chapter 15

I woke up that morning, and I was REALLY excited! I mean, I get to go to Springfield for a convention!

  I’m ready!

I took a quick shower and when I got done, I got dressed and headed to my room. I put on a t-shirt and some shorts, and grabbed my things.

I was going to drive up to the campus, and have my car parked there.

Mom came out of her room, looking like she just woke up. Wait…She DID just wake up.

  “Today’s the day?” she asked.

  We talked about this already!

  Yes!

“Yup.” I replied and started to go the family room. Mom followed me, and I gave her a hug.

  “Just be safe.” She said.

“I will mom.” I replied and let go of her.

She watched me as I walked out of the door, and drove off.

For the entire car trip, I was thinking about what would happen between the team and I.

And what would happen between Connor and I.

  ***

After I let the campus police know that I was going to leave my car here, I headed over to where th
e crew where. They were waiting for the others to arrive, and to pack the stuff in their car.

“Hey Gary!” the advisor sad as I walked out of the car. I walked over to them with my bag.

“Hi!” I said as I waved my hand. I reached the loading site, and they helped me put my stuff in the truck. We were waiting for a few other people.

I was texting Tammy, when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

  “Hey, ready for the trip?”

I looked up, and it was Connor.

  Oh god…

“I am.” I replied and looked into his beautiful eyes. Those eyes…

  The eyes of a god.

  Dear god…

  ***

It was about time that everyone had arrived! I thought we would ever leave!

We all got into the van, and the advisor turned around in his seat. “Everyone good?”

  “Yes,” The editor-in-chief replied.

He then started the car, and drove off.

  Let the fun begin!

  Chapter 16

Remember how I said “let the fun begin”?

  Well, let the long-car-ride-to-some-mysterious-hotel begin…

God damn, the car ride was SO FUCKING boring!

I was playing on my phone, when I thought of an idea to entertain myself.

Why don’t I vlog this on Snapchat?

I opened up Snapcchat, and started to record us riding along in the car.

Well, mainly pointing the camera facing the window.

When the recording stopped, I felt the presents of someone looking at me.

  Probably Connor…

I looked behind me, and there he was. Watching me record the footage of my first Snapchat Vlog.

  Or should I say…SnapVlog.

  “Whatcha doing?” her asked.

  Nosy.

You’ve already been inside me, you don’t need to be in my business as well!

You might as well just marry me boy!

“I’m just vlogging this trip.” I replied.

He nodded, and went back on his phone. He then showed me his phone, and said, “Want to add me?”

As long as you don’t send me any porno pictures!

Like you having sex with some other guy.
